Do you know the pin sizes for your three point hitch?

 Hello, 

       Today I'd like to cover a subject that many Tractor owners ask questions about. In fact just the other day I had a customer buy a category 0 pin pack for his tractor. He had stated that because the listing said it will fit a Massey Ferguson tractor he just assumed it would fit his. Little did he know he needed category 1 pins. In this case Size matters!

       We know Tractor hitches are standardized and tractor brands make little to no difference. Keep this in mind if shopping for a tractor attachment or hardware alike. Being a retailer of Speeco brands tractor pins, I know the chances of your tractor having ether a category 1 (most popular) or Cat 0 3pt hitch is very likely. Cat 2 is less likely and cat 3 even rarer.

Three point hitch guide line:

GARDEN AND SUB COMPACT:

Category 0 -  Top pin size: 5/8"  Lower pin size: 5/8"

SMALL AND COMPACT TRACTORS:

Category 1 - Top pin size:3/4"   Lower pin size: 7/8"

MEDIUM TO LARGE TRACTORS:

Category 2 - Top pin size:1" Lower pin size: 1-1/8"

LARGE TO VERY LARGE TRACTORS

Category 3 - Top pin size:1-1/4" Lower pin size: 1-7/16"
